Year 10 Student Chosen for County Football Team

Alisha Appleby in Year 10, has been selected to represent the Lincolnshire Girls U16 County Football Team this year despite her young age.

This is an amazing achievement for a very talented footballer! Lincolnshire recently played their first match against Warwickshire at Sleaford Town Football Club. Although Lincolnshire lost the game 3-1, Alisha performed really well and scored the only goal.

This follows on from the success that she has had participating in the year 10 boys football team. During a league fixture last week against Caistor Grammar School, Alisha scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory for Louth Academy.

All of us at Louth Academy are very proud of Alisha’s achievements and we look forward to seeing her develop her sporting talents further, over the coming months.
