Students And Staff Remember Those Who Gave Their Lives For Us

Front row, holding the poppy are Louth Academy students Kayla Stephenson and Max Watts. In the back row (l-r) are Faith-Rose Parker, Oliver Warne and Libby Mason. The bugle player is Peter Wood MBE, retired RAF serviceman. The students are all members of Louth Air Cadets.

Louth Academy students and staff marked Armistice Day with two minutes' silence and the laying of a poppy wreath at the Academy. This is the 100th time since World War One that the UK has fallen silent for Armistice Day. The Last Post was played by retired Raf serviceman Peter Wood from Binbrook (below). Some students, who are Army and Air Cadets, attended the ceremony in their uniforms. All students lined up outside to take part in the ceremony.
