Academy Embraces Fictional Characters For World Book Day

Aimee-Ellen Munson-Williams dresses up as Willy Wonka to celebrate World Book Day at Louth Academy.

Louth Academy students took part in a treasure hunt to discover which character their teachers had dressed up as to celebrate World Book Day.

Students and staff embraced a wealth of fictional characters in fancy dress to celebrate the day, which encourages reading for everyone and fits in well with the Academy’s focus on Literacy. The Academy has installed its own Book Vending Machine as a reward for students who perform well at school.
