We pledge to give 11-16-year-olds a learning environment that encourages them to succeed, teaching staff who make sure that students matter, facilities that offer the tools for success, and an environment they want to be proud of.
Louth Academy is rooted in proven strengths and policies that have already created an outstanding education provider at Tollbar Academy. We are building on an existing model and we employ the best people to deliver the kind of education our students deserve.
Changes from the predecessor school include a new uniform, designed to encourage pride and identity, new specialisms in Maths, English and ICT to develop basic skills in line with recommendations from Ofsted; and a reshaped curriculum which means that our Key Stage 4 students now have three years in which to prepare for their GCSEs. We have already made major improvements to the buildings to give the Academy a new look but now, with the wonderful news that our sponsors have been awarded a 7.7 million pound funding initiative from the government, we can soon set to and make Louth Academy a state of the art school.
Our aim is to make Louth Academy an outstanding and successful school which serves the young people of Louth well into the millennium.
